Mr. Flanagan joined Sterling Manor Financial as an independent advisor after more than four years with a global financial services firm. 
 
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis MD, he spent over 8 years on active duty as a Naval Officer. Jim served as an F-14 Tomcat Radar Intercept Officer, completing two carrier deployments, logging over 1000 hours in the F-14 and over 200 carrier landings.
 
Happily married with 3 children, Jim relocated to Wilton NY after leaving Naval Service. Jim is dedicated to providing the same high quality of investments and service offered at a large firm, in an independent and community-oriented setting.
 
His primary focus is working with clients in the areas of retirement planning, life insurance, income planning, and long term care.   Mr. Flanagan’s professional licenses include: FINRA Series 7, Series 66, and NY State Life, Accident and Health Insurance.
