Stephen holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University, and a B.S. in Economics from the University at Albany, as well as Series 7 and 66 licenses, in addition to being a Series 24 Registered Securities Principal. He also holds Life, Accident and Health insurance licenses.

Stephen enjoys traveling and a myriad of outdoor activities including golf, horseback riding, skiing, and SCUBA diving. He's also a former member of the USA Bobsled & Skeleton Federation as an athlete in the sport of skeleton. In addition to recreational pursuits, he's served on the boards of The Universal Preservation Hall (UPH), The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club,The Saratoga Rotary Education Foundation, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, The Camp Wakpominee Alumni Association, and the Lofts at 18 Division Street HOA.
